GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed in the job level.

 
  • Acquires, analyzes and processes claims.
  • Prepares all documentation for the claim.
  • Determines eligibility.
  • Inputs registrations into database.
  • Updates employer accounts.
  • Answers complex questions from employers.
  • Work closely with claims staff to determine jurisdiction issues on a claim.
  • Performs case management on assigned case loads
  • Refers appropriate cases for hearing and may provide testimony in the hearings.
  • Trains new employees and updates employees on new policies and procedures.
  • Participates in special development and design projects.
