Administrative Clerk

Responsible for a variety of clerical tasks and general customer service.

Provide clerical support for assigned staff to include a combination of or all of the following: copying and/or scanning documents and assigning appropriate indexes; sorting, filing, answering phone calls, providing referrals, taking messages.

May be required to provide verbal and/or written reports of work in progress.

Provide quality service to both internal and external customers in person and/or through written communications.

Knowledge - Business English, spelling and personal computer operations including word processing software, such as Microsoft Word or equivalent programs/

Skills - In the operation of equipment necessary to perform the functions of the job; basic computer skills are essential.

Abilities - Maintain clerical records of some complexity and to prepare simple reports from such records; establish and maintain effective working relationships; work in a fast paced environment which can entail many interruptions; demonstrate a professional attitude; well organized and very flexible.

EVIDENCE OF QUALIFICATIONS:
Training - High school degree or equivalent.

Experience - Previous experience in use of personal computer required.
