ABE Counselor 2

1. Provide entrance and exit interviews with clients.
2. Provide individualized educational and career counseling.
3. Provide on-going program status reports to the Dean, Continuing Education.

1. Attend weekly staffing meetings with testing coordinator and instructors.
2. Provide monthly goal attainment and student outcome reports to appropriate agencies and staff.
3. Provide weekly attendance reports, client status reports, and monthly progress reports on clients to the team coordinator and funding agencies.

1. Provide coaching to clients as needed.
2. Act as liaison between agencies and the College.
3. Participate in delivery of life skills and work readiness workshops.
4. Attend meetings with county agencies as appropriate.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Master’s degree in Social Work (Preferred) NJ Social Work License  (Preferred) Experience in counseling (Required) Knowledge of adult basic education standardized assessment Excellent written and oral communication skills Computer literacy, Microsoft products preferred
