General Purpose
- Coordinates and facilitates all aspects of Training Division. Provides customer service, support, and clerical functions for Training Division. Works a flexible schedule to assist in both the day and extended day operation of the Training Division.
Minimum Qualifications
- Assists in research, coordination and delivery of all Training Division programs.
- Assists in delivery of College policies, procedures and the Strategic Plan.
- Provides customer service, support, and clerical functions.
- Proofs and formats Training Division material.
- Provides backup to Training Division support personnel.
- Works cooperatively to support academic and industry partnerships.
- Assists Directors in coordinating Training Division activity with other College Divisions.
- Works cooperatively within the College community.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Maintains strict confidentiality
- Monitors status of projects
- Prepares reports and correspondence
- Maintains records of division personnel leave, prepares time and attendance reports, and payroll data.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Focus
- Graduation from High School with a minimum of one (1) year of specialized training in clerical skills, computer operations and general office practices and procedures, plus three (3) years of proven leadership with responsible office experience. A combination of education and experience may be used to fill this requirement. Experience in implementation of project and/or service management functions preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with a diverse population; excellent customer service skills; demonstrated teamwork; ability to deal with confidential information; demonstrated professional demeanor; solid accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Typing speed of 40 wpm, operation of various types of office equipment, with proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets. Ability to work independently and manage multiple work assignments.
