Exam Proctor/Hall Monitor/MIC/AMIC/Monitor Aide Positions

HRD administers six exams per year and proctors may work one-six times per year; however most proctors/monitors work once per year in April.

• Ensures the proper administration of the examination for an assigned group of applicants
  
• Responsible for security of test materials
  
• Checking applicant I.D.’s
  
• Distributing and collecting applicant examination and data forms
• Delivers verbal instructions and time warnings, clearly and precisely, to applicants according to examination guidelines
• Patrols the classroom/section to ensure no disruptive behavior among the applicants
  
• Rebundle test materials efficiently and accurately 
  
• The Room/Section Monitor must be able to communicate clearly to applicants, attend to details, and be alert and observant for the duration of the examination.

Must be 19 years of age as of application date in order to serve as room monitor or hall proctor.

Applicants younger than age 19 may serve as monitor aides only.

Applicants for this position may need to serve as a hall monitor.  Role assignments are given out on the day of an exam.

Room Proctor - $100/day
Hall Monitor - $75/Day
Aide - $60/Day

Monitors-in-Charge and Assistant-Monitors-in-Charge are appointed at the discretion of HRD.
