General Description
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of amusement rides and devices.
Examples of Duties
- Performs daily safety inspections of assigned amusement ride. Enforces all park rules, ride rules, and safety procedures.
- Collects admission tickets and counts the number of participants per ride.
- Assists guests and operates the ride in a safe and responsible manner. Provides courteous and efficient customer service.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment.
- Follows all policies, procedures, and the philosophy that is set forth by the City of Green Bay Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience working with children desirable.
- Customer service experience desirable.
- A combination of equivalent experience and/or education may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge and skill in proper customer service techniques.
- Skill and ability in safely operating equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to read and perform basic calculations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work the required hours of the position.
- Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform the following activities:- Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, squatting, crouching, and kneeling.
- Occasional sitting, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to work in varied environmental conditions.
