Nursing Adjunct

South Puget Sound Community College is in seek of an engaging and dedicated Nursing instructor.

SPSCC accepts applications for adjunct faculty (part-time) positions on an ongoing basis to establish a qualified pool of applicants. The applicant pool is created for future, part-time professor appointments for the individual program or course indicated.  This announcement will serve as an open and continuous applicant pool.  Appointment availability varies from quarter to quarter.

Candidates selected from the pool will be contacted by the division should a vacancy arise.  Your application will remain in the pool unless notified.  

• Ability to provide instruction in clinical and/or laboratory nursing courses in 1st or 2nd year of the nursing program.
• Evaluate student learning in the laboratory and/or clinical setting. Adhere to college and department policies and procedures.
• Serve as a role model to nursing students in a professional manner at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing from an accredited college or university
• Three years of professional experience in the clinical subject area taught.

• Master's degree with a major in nursing or a bachelor's degree in nursing with a masters in a related field from an accredited college or university 
• Experience as a mentor or preceptor to nurses or nursing students
