General Statement of Duties

Desirable Education and Experience:  Completion of training and experience to qualify as an EMT; 
Special Requirements: Certification from the State as an Emergency Medical Technician, AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card, NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 within six months, EVD or EVOC within one year, possession of a valid driver's license.

  • Be certified at the EMT level
  • Must enroll in a paramedic course within 12 months of hire date
  • Must successfully complete the paramedic program and pass the NC OEMS stateparamedic test within 36 months of hire
  • Will not be paid for time away for school but can make up time working extra shifts if available
Starting salary$13.20/HR

Work Schedule12 hour daytime, rotating schedule with every other weekend off.  Schedule subject to change to 24 hour at the discretion of management.

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM
Employees may be reimbursed for eligible expenses up to a total of eight hundred dollars ($800) per fiscal year
 
CERTIFICATIONS
1.5% salary increase per advanced certification pertaining to the job
 
DIRECT DEPOSIT
